Mount Bromo Excursions
Option 1: Easy Bromo Sunrise Experience
- Departure at 3:30 AM for the less known viewpoint
- 1-hour ascent to Mount Bromo
- Visit to the Seruni viewpoint after the crowds disperse
- Return to Maison Manendra by 11:00 AM
Another option would be to go after sunrise to Bromo (it is also possible.)
Option 2: Bromo Sunrise Trek & Explore
- Departure at 3:30 AM for the less known viewpoint
- 3-hour trek to Mount Bromo where you will discover another part of the Bromo Caldeira (you will meet no people)
- 1-hour ascent to Mount Bromo
- followed by a return by 12:00 PM
Another extreme option would be to go to Bromo trail running from Maison Manendra with a return by jeep
Or even more extreme (only for advanced adventurers) a 3 days 2 nights (under tent) trek from Maison Manendra to Bromo and back. This option allows you to truly explore all the Bromo Area with it diverse landscape from forest to savana to sand desert, on flat and very slopy terrain.
Semeru Volcano Climb
